Exactly what the kick and clap game needs for the UK so it can finally make way for the much more exciting League
League is ****ing shite. 1 pass takle, 1 pass tackle x 5; kick and repeat for 80 minutes. Game for thick northerners.

Nothing I hate worse than an Englishman revelling in a defeat for any English team. Wanker.

That was nothing but a total disgrace, this country needs to show a lot more passion in just about every sport, we build ourselves up and we fail every time, watching that game was a joke!! from the kick off it was clear we had no passion, no will or want to win, pretty much every other sport we are the same, far to much money involved in the sports now, shocking!!! its not about Passion or winning for the fans anymore, its ALL about revenue.......

This is very true and why I don't bother supporting the England teams anymore because commercialism is killing rugby and football at national level in this country.

Wow I take it you have been watching some of this world cup which I have, as a world cup it should be the pinnacle of the game. Take today how often did England pass more than once, how often did they manage to even get to 5 phases and the kicking I take it you say that tongue in cheek - kick, catch kick to touch line out with the clock ticking and everyone standing about

It doesn't matter how many registered players a country has its the quality that is there. Definite lack in the English team in comparison to the Southern Hemisphere teams.

Far better running and ball handling in league but it's a bit pony that you can't contest for the ball. And it has no global reach at all. They've made so many mistakes trying to take that code forward and failed every time.

Totally outplayed, as much as it pains me to say the Aussies were miles better than us

Some of the rugby in this WC has been outstanding. You're clueless.

Cannot disagree with that, they struggle to promote the game here in the UK which is 1 of the 2 main heartlands and I do not think we will ever see it grow much more than it currently is

I have just seen a clip of one of the Australian tries on the BBC news and the pitch looked nice.

Always look for the positives :)

When Union schedule an England game the same weekend as the biggest annual game in League in the same city I am glad that there will be nothing to play for
Is there a league game at Old Trafford next week?
