I have BACKED the draw in play when at the ground, wouldn't like at attempt anything more fancy than that.

Maybe you haven't been to the Amex before but there's pretty reliable free Wi-Fi pretty much everywhere.

I've gone >0.5 goals

My plan is to wait until the first goal goes in and then bet on no further goals, but if there are no goals by half time, I'll back the draw.

I'm gonna do o0.5 and then see what I fancy. Obvs I won't be watching the game so won't have a clue what's likely - just take a punt on anything...

I guess your <4 goal first half opening bet screwed you over last time, when Arsenal banged in three in the first 19 minutes. :down:

Interestingly, Bet365 have clearly got wind of the >0.5 goal option as this time round the odds even stingier than normal (1/33 instead of the usual 1/25). Definitely worth hanging on until there's a goal really.

It didn't screw me over as such as it still won but it did worry me - worst thing was I'd done the inplay on a draw after 10 seconds of in play though! Like I always say though, I've made enough out of this offer (not as well as you recently but a memorable 7/1 on Real Madrid a few yrs ago) that if I did lose £50 doing it I wouldn't be too upset. I think you'll find the odds are worse because they are clearly expecting goals in this game - over 2.5 is a poor 3/5! And the under 3.5 first half is 1/33 this time when it's normally 1/50 or even 1/80! At least with over 0.5 you can just wait and know you're OK once the first goal goes in and always cover the 0-0 if it gets to 70 mins goaless..

What's slightly worse for me about the Tuesday night matches which clash with ours is that a) I can't see what's going on in the B365 match, thus reducing my ability to pick the right bet and b) I flatly refuse to check the scores on my phone while we're actually playing. This puts me at something of a disadvantage as I've got to wait until HT before working out what's happened and quickly jizzing £50 on something.
