Yes we will have loads more money to do this after trade goes down, the pound plummets, mortgage rates go up, pensions crash, foreign investors go elsewhere :rolleyes:

BUT the migration problem will be solved won't it....I mean the French will really be keen to stop the people in the camps heading over to us now.

Don't worry, France will be to busy with British refugees going the other way

We will be in safe hands .... a likely new Tory female PM swishing her hand bag at those pesky EU types fighting for the UK national interest , just like the good old days.

Seriously though I understand the disappointment on the Remain side but remember we have just voted to have the same status as the vast majority of countries around the world who are also not locked into a political project going in a direction they don't like. It's not the end of the world!

So chin up, have a bit of faith in the country and it's people ... we will persevere just like we always do.

I admire your positivity, almost like the spirit of the blitz, lets hope we still have it.

It's not like it was a major promise of theirs or anything.

It fooled a lot of people.

I was trying to find something I read on the BBC site last week where the leave people were going to fund everything with this money. NHS, Police , Nurses , Schools, affordable housing- you name it.

Northern Leave voter on the wireless this morning, celebrating, and explaining how he thinks the 'EU savings' will be used to "support the steelworks and build houses".

Brilliant

....this 'victory for ordinary people' should mean:

- a fairer distribution of the wealth owned by the top 1%;
- a properly-funded NHS;
- more affordable housing;
- renationalisation of those privatised industries which are now foreign-owned.
- an end to the privatisation and contracting-out of remaining public services;
- greatly improved employment rights for workers;
- slashing bureaucracy in education;
- higher wages for low-paid workers.
- an end to austerity.

I can't wait!

Think you will be waiting a long time.

that's absolutely brilliant, now where do we send all the steel, and who fills up all the houses?

Also we will have to get some labour in to build them houses, I hear the Polish are quite good at that and very willing.

The most curious thing..

Except it won't do any of those.
