Whilst Sidwell was a revelation, his pace did get him in trouble at times, giving away a few needless fouls (remember this in the Villa game especially on final day). This will be most likely be punished far more severely in the Prem.
It's almost like how you'd rather put a dog down than see it struggle. Don't want my last memories of Sidders to be negative...

I'm not expecting it to be honest but it is an option if needed, In reality I can see us really busting our transfer record on a decent midfielder and again on a forward player.

You seem quite confident of Delaney signing. A recent interview I read of his as well as the impasse on fee suggest otherwise.
He is quality though, so here's hoping.

Don't want to be, but I fear I'm with you on this one. Really hope that Kayal gets back on song, Stephens does what we think he can, and that we get a new CM beast, so we can keep Sidwell's contributions down to cameos.

Talented player who I rate highly, but can't see it. Money better spent in more key positions surely.
11 goals and 11 assists in a rubbish team last season. Mick mcarthy (best mates with hughton) loved him.
