It's also worth noting he has played a large percentage of games last season just behind Gent front man. Versatile player.

We need flair - pay the £13M and sign him up.

£13M? Has he got diamonds on the soles of his shoes?

(going down a slightly different route)

Is it a requisite for you to have heard of the player and the club for which he plays in order for it to be a good signing?

Looks like Assombalonga is going for 14M (to a Championship club) if that brings things into perspective for you.

Not a prerequiste at all, i'd never heard of Stephen Dobbie, Ryan Harley, Nzuzi Togo, Elvis Manu, Kemy Augustein on a transfer and even less Jonothan Obika, David Rodrigeuz or Chuba Akpom on a loan.
As for Gent, its more famous for its cycle race, but at least the football club finished above such giants a Charleroi, Waregem and Oostende. He may be good, but £8.5m good is a bit of a punt for right winger when we have Knockheart, March, Skalak and Murphy.
As for Assombalonga's transfer fee, thats just nuts and Middlesborough will need to gain promotion soon.

This one is very likely I feel. Doesn't mean Trossard is going anywhere.
