Very poor we have moved on. Was dropped for full back Calderon who showed how to attack and defend. He covered more ground in one game then JFC did in ten

I think we should keep Jake .
Brighton is in his blood and I'm sure we've not seen the best of him. Anyway Brighton Is in his blood and we should respect that. This guy has spent his formative years working for this club and he deserves a lot of respect for that

Is it in his blood and does he deserve respect? Either written by Caskey himself or a 5 year old.

Would have loved him to have kicked on and been pushing for a place but simply hasn't developed well enough. Last season showed that you need a midfield pairing like Stephens and Kayal to get a sniff of promotion. Sadly JFC is a long way from that level. I wish him all the best, but if we really want to be challenging at the top of the table, especially with the teams that have come down, I don't believe he is worthy of a place on the bench, especially with the system we play.

He's lower championship at best. Have to let him go!

Do we though? Seems that barely any of the development squad get a look in and what with no loans this season if that's his standard it would grounds for keeping him? i am not sure what i would do if i were CH.

Just not good enough for a promotion thinking side, lacks the mobility and physicality needed at that level. Also think he is not suited to a two man central unit which will hugely limit his chances in the current system. Probably best for all that he moves on

Yes they would if he's offered a new contract. Key for me is that we get a big sell on. I'd be okay with a small fee but large sell on in case he improves a lot.

Jamie Vardy? a late bloomer.

Jamie Vardy? a late bloomer.

Absolutely, he could be. Hence the large sell on clause. Don't think he'll bloom here though as he won't work in a 4-4-2, probably needs a more free central midfield role than having to get up and down the pitch.

If he leaves, I hope he goes on to do well. Another victim of being over hyped at a young age.

I haven't seen enough of Towelll but get the feeling that CH doesn't rate him if not he would have made more appearances on the bench.
For that reason I would rather keep JFC and loan out Towell. The problem as mentioned by others is that JFC probably doesn't fit into a 442, that said not too sure that Towell would either. Doth players will have limited opportunities with Kayak, Stephens and Sidwell in the squad.

He had an option to go to Arsenal when he was about 16, so I give him some respect for sticking at the Albion. Definitely has some ability but he is stagnating here and needs a move. Looks good at L1 level, and should improve with more games and the right coach.

I have said it before., there is a good player trying to get out and we should try to help him do that. When he pays fro England under 21s he is with his peers, when he plays for the Albion he has been the younger player and treated as such. When he first played for Brighton in those 5 or 6 games he did not have that millstone he was the star in waiting and played accordingly. We need to get him out of his shell and play to his ability e.g.he was a dead ball specialist but we never let him take free kicks ...
