This is the B-side of 'Duchess', and as I replied to [MENTION=1155]ozzygull[/MENTION] is also on the US version of 'Three Sides Live'. I think the only album it is on in the UK is the second 'Archives' collection. Many people think there are other tracks that maybe could have been left off 'Duke' in favour of this one but maybe it didn't fit with the sound of that album. It's one of my favourite Genesis songs.

Ditto up to the point you say Duke is a “fab” album. It really isn’t! The low point in the Genesis story, in my opinion.

I like all Genesis albums but my favourites are "Selling England by the pound", "... And then there were three" and "Invisible Touch" which I guess is unusual, because a lot of people like either the more poppy sound or the more progy sound, I think all their albums have some great songs, those three, I like every song. I was 15 when "Invisible Touch" was released so it was my introduction to the band, loved it so much and went backwards and bought every album apart from "Genesis to Revelation" So even though a lot of Genesis fans hate it I would not of known about this great band without it.

'Trick of The Tail', '...And Then There Were Three' would be my favourites (with honorable mentions for 'Nursery Cryme' and 'Foxtrot') - although I think they wrote some fantastic tunes when Peter Gabriel was in the band I think they moved to a whole new level musically once he left and were the better for it.

The most complaints I read seem to be more about when Steve Hacket left, but as you say ‘...And then there were three’ is a stunning Album. Seems perfect for a winters night, I guess its ‘snowbound’ and undertow that give it that feel.
