Thought Man Utd were dreadful in the first half, but improved after the break.

This could go one of two ways for CP2010FC. Either they take heart from a reasonable performance, or it shatters them having been so close to getting something.

Sincerely hope its the latter.

Chelsea away for them at the weekend.

Any one of our players would have thrown themselves at that shot (although the ball would almost certainly have hit Dunk on the backside and gone in the net by the other post)

True but if he had of done Utd fella would have laid the ball off to his teammate next to him.
What would never have happened is Utd having 2 spare players 25 yards out.

Shit. Thanks a bunch both of you. I'm getting a new hip next week..............

My Dad had a hip replacement op a few years ago (he is 90 now).....ye its an op so you expect a bit of discomfort...but he was felt it wasn't too bad at all....and certainly worthwhile having done

The best thing about this result, is that I have formally reduced my target survival points to 38. That's just one win and a draw folks.....

That Wan-Bissako fellow looked very good. Southgate should get him in England set up - he’s played for Congo youth

Amusing to see Our Glenn like these “anti-Palace” Tweets.

Man Utd fan, of course...

The current Palace 1st team aren't necessarily too good to go down (whatever that means) but their best 11 (with everyone back from injuries) should never be involved in a relegation scrap.

I guess the key points will be;

When are their 'stars' returning?
Will they be able to make enough difference?

Yep I agree with this, when you view all of the teams down the bottom and you can see that near enough they all have their first team fit and yet they are still down there. However when you look at Palace you can see that they have 9 or 10 first teamers out. So you could argue they are in a false position.
Like you say though, how many of them will be fit and ready for their easy run in.

Another reason I so glad they lost last night I had an acca where I had Celta Vigo & BTTS and Manu Utd & BTTS - both came in late!

Who are their first 11, and how many of them have been missing?

Meanwhile over in Stoke (you really need to read this, some superbly funny comments)

Palace v Manchester United thread from the Oatcake
Got myself a cup of tea and going to have a read. Off to a good start:

"I have to admit to detesting Palace.

The shit tip of a ground
The **** journey there and back
But worse of all is the **** with the drum; he wants his arms breaking"

Note - they have no swear filter

I get no pleasure from seeing the Stoke fans suffer, it's great reading know that their tears of sorrow will soon become tears of joy.

Off the top of my head: Ward, Dann, Sakho, Zaha, Loftus-Cheek, Cabaye from their starting 11. Then Wickham, Puncheon, Sako amongst others would probably have been playing as a result of the first batch being injured.

Hopefully someone who supports Palace might show up to answer your question, but off the top of my head I think Zaha/Cabaye/Puncheon/Sakho/Dann/Ward/Speroni would probably be in that team?

EDIT:

Just seen this list from that oatcake forum:

Cabaye Y.(Groin Injury)
Dann S.(Knee Injury)
Loftus-Cheek R.(Ankle Injury)
Puncheon J.(Knee Injury)
Sakho M.(Calf Injury)
Sako B.(Ankle Injury)
Speroni J.(Knee Injury)
Ward J.(Muscle Injury)
Wickham C.(Knee Injury)
Zaha W.(Knee Injury)

They all seem to be busy for some reason.

I think Speroni is their back up keeper.
