Yes. All clubs have a budget presumably.

That doesn't mean Ulloa will stay. Other clubs might meet our valuation (Is it 10m ? is it 7.5m ?) or he might put in a transfer request forcing the clubs hand.

But this saga doesn't inevitably end with him going. And even if he does then it will mean us paying a fair whack for a replacement. Why wouldn't we ?

What makes you think that? Bristol will know we have £7m+ burning in our pocket and insist they want want £4m+ for Baldock. I personally would prefer to have Ulloa than Baldock with 3m change.
