They've spent enough on the playing side where they must surely have a plan. They obviously have enough seats, it's just access issues and facilities such as wc's, refreshments etc., changing rooms, that will need upgrading. Their hospitality offer for sponsorship is also woefully short at this level, so they'll really need to explore their revenue streams unless KSD really are an endless stream of funding!

I don't think anyone would suggest Whitehawk need to go anywhere, but before you start funding league footballers salaries, and top end wages at this level, it should be expected that you can equally spend making your ground half decent. It's fair to say Whitehawk's playing budget was probably one of the largest this season, and yet nothing is happening to the ground. I think the sketchup style block models of what a new stadium might look like are merely a smoke screen excuse in justifying spending nothing on the facilities. It is truly a shocking ground for this level of football.

They won't have been the first club to go up but not be allowed into the Conference Prem because of ground grading, so hopefully they do have suitable plans in place should they win at the weekend.

you have to have a playing surface that only drops 1 in 40 for a starter, temporary stands are not allowed,there has to be 36 seats in the stand for directors. 8 turnstyles etc the list goes on. I remember that Eastbourne Borough had to jump through hoops to get the criteria which I showed in the link in an earlier post.
It isn't sour grapes and wish Whitehawk all the best and even though they had the 2nd highest budget in the league they have got to the playoffs where Ebbsfleet didn't.
Unless Whitehawk are going to groundshare they can't surely get the ground ready by August

Question about temporary stands, is this just a Conference rule or a new rule?
These seats were used at Withdean and I'm sure the away end at Gillingham is temporary seats.

Also crawley and wolves have temporary seats as far as I am a wear

The rules are often different for those already in the league.

It's up sheepcoat valley, the council want whitehawks current ground for the collage, I think it's currently at planning stage

Ground grading is done by around February i believe .If whitehawks ground wasn't good enough they wouldn't be allowed in the play offs.

There was a piece in the programme for the home tie against Basingstoke which basically said that if they won the play-offs they would be seriosly pushed to get the necessary ground improvements done in time for the start of the new season.

You don't get the team promoted and then sort the ground out. Surely it should be round the other way. You get the infrastructure in place before you go spending huge budgets on promotion. Anyone can do a few drawings showing new stadium plans but are the owners going to spend millions on a new stadium for a few hundred supporters. Remember Rushden and Diamonds and Darlington

I remember lewes having issues getting out of the conference south and having to do work to the dripping pan before they could go up. Now, have the rules changed? Even back then the pan was far superior to the enclosed ground which is awful. I have no idea how they'd cope with a large away following. It would be cool to have them in the conference but I really hope they sort their infrastructure out soon
