I don't see much "governing" going on at all. Everybody in government is winging it. Even the paltry level of growth we're experiencing is a by-product of much stronger global growth and a weak pound caused by Brexit.

I cannot see any original policy which has directly led to growth at all since 2015. Neither Cameron nor May felt the need to bother with policies, they just have a pop at the opposition, repeat "strong and stable" over and over again and hope the sheep out there re-elect them.
Yep. Depressing but true.

Is it just me or is JRM what Walter the Softy from Dennis the Menace became when he grew up?
Yes. Yes he is.

The irony being that most thick, right wing, pseudo hard man, repressed bully boys (who would much prefer to incorrectly associate their personality with the anarchist Dennis) think that he's great.

In the real world they'd have been the first to kick the shit out of the nerd given half a chance and now he'll always be the first one to **** the shit out of them as the nerd in power, while the same morons still vote for him and he has the last laugh. Forever.

Surely it would have been a greater conflict of interest had he not done any sabre rattling? Further sanctions will most likely depress the share price of the bank. The shares don’t seem to be owned by him personally but by a fund run by his company - I think this has been covered previously in this thread.

Thought I'd get in early and say, as someone on the 'left' who deeply disagrees with Rees Mogg on pretty much everything...
This is indefensible and the 'protestor', Ian Bone, is a detestable piece of sh*t.

Pretty despicable behaviour by any measure and has been rightly decried from both ends of the political spectrum.

You know for certain, however, there will be some (including a few on here) who will be thinking he deserves it. Kids? Pah - unfortunate collateral damage.

I already felt sorry for his kids when I saw the names he's lumbered them with...

Peter Theodore Alphege
Mary Anne Charlotte Emma (this ones not bad, to be fair)
Thomas Wentworth Somerset Dunstan
Anselm Charles Fitzwilliam
Alfred Wulfric Leyson Pius
Sixtus Dominic Boniface Christopher

A few no doubt. And also some who will desperately spend their time dredging social media to find those few so they can hold them up triumphantly as proof of the 'evil left'.

But the vast majority will just see it for exactly what it is. Sh*t behaviour by a sh*t human being.

I invite those who think he does deserve it, and that his kids are collateral damage to step forward.

My guess is that not even the fake socialist troll from the Cliftonville will do so.

Let's see.....

Harsh to suggest that there are people on here who would consider that is a reasonable way to behave. We all have our ideas of what democracy means, but I don't think anyone seriously believes the kids of politicians are fair game for collateral damage.

There will always be some. But as we all know they are in a minority.

All ends of the political spectrum will see this as knobish behaviour.

Sensible folk will not feel it useful as a political football.

As much as I think he's fundamentally wrong, a borderline comedic prick and a privileged buffoon....
Don't do that.
Idiots.

Struggling to come to terms with making only my second contribution to a thread about about someone I despise and as with the above it's condemning other people's actions.

This time around it's far worse. Utterly deplorable.

Kids FFS.

Jesus wept.

He needs to put something on the end of it*
Or buy a television.
Not only do I feel sorry for the kids after this horrible incident, but also for being lumbered with a total prat for a father.

(*yes I know he is a staunch catholic)
