Stratum may not run in the Ebor, he needs a few horses to pull out to make the 20 field.

Seems odd that a 7/2 antepost shout might not even make the field. I hope he does as I reckon he'd have a good shout. He was so impressive a month ago at Newbury.

He has sneaked in now, he needed 3 runners off higher weights to not declare and that happened.!

Often happens with the lighter weights, you get your money back if you have backed it ante post

Interestingly Stratum now appears in the (bet365) betting for both the Caulfield Cup (33/1) AND the Melbourne Cup (25/1). Maybe worth keeping an eye on both those markets, in the event of a good showing in the Ebor today. TB's Withhold still leads the Melbourne Cup betting (14/1).
