Brighton factually.....
My colleague won 17k playing roulette at casino last Friday, 7k in November, 12k a year ago.
And before you ask, no major losses. That he has told anyone about
He says the trick is - be willing to lose everything. That is not a trick, that is a sure fire way to lose everything

And by everything that could eventually be his friends, car, house, wife and children (if he has any) and that is the only sure fire bet that will come off in the long run.

And he will.
This. Nothing is more certain.

Winning "easy money" at roulette and bragging about it at work whilst being "prepared to lose everything". Hmmm... that'll work then...!!!

Bang. Straight back in time to 30 years ago. Blimey.
I was playing on one of these at Barry Island last Monday.

I reckon that there could be a good business opportunity for someone who wanted to open an arcade with 80's fruit machines, there must be others (like me) who spent far too much time down West Street and on the pier who'd love to be transported back to their youth. Get some 80's music belting out of the speakers and a miserable ******* behind the cash desk and you'd be onto a winner.

Sadly it means going to Gravesend though.

Edit - looks like they have moved to Tonbridge. Strange choice.

Chances are, he doesn't tell you when he loses, like most gamblers.

I always find stories like this hard to believe. It may be that he's not telling you the whole truth as he's got the addicted gambler's rose-tinted specs on. Is it really likely that he's played on these 3 occasions and had these massive wins and not played or not lost in the intervening months? I very much doubt it.

If he won 17K in one night, he didn't go in with a tenner.

'No major losses', maybe, but if he's losing a few hundred 'minor losses' each week, it'll soon add up.

I hope he stops before he does lose everything.

To be absolutely frank. His mate sounds like an absolute tool.

computerised gambling really is a mugs game.......poker machines are a massive problem in OZ.......the reason they remain legal is because the govt. rakes in between 300 and 400 million in tax every year from them.....@ 25 %...!!

i stick to the football and nags.....

I have no idea why people play these machines they are 100% fixed.

Because the algorithm developed within them is designed to make them addictive to vulnerable people. As a gambler if you have even the slightest vulnerability in your make up and you start playing these machines they will have you hooked.

Google Teddy Sagi fobt and you will see for yourself
