Whilst flicking through footie matches last night, saw this young lad playing for Bayer Leverkusen, what a talent ! 21 year old Jamaican winger/forward looked very confident.
With the impending clear-out at the end of the season, would be delighted to get this lad in to compliment Jose.........hopefully he's on our radar ??

Aren’t Bayer Leverkusen a bit of a poison chalice for us?

Have a day off mate :ffsparr:

For starters Lev are looking good for a champions league spot, he won't be swapping that for lower end of the Prem (at best).

Secondly he is one of a few serious talents at Leverkusen which are being monitored by the elite. Leno the goalie looks like he is on his way to Arsenal. The other winger Julian Brandt looks like he could go on to be one of the worlds best.

There are few players at Leverkusen I would LOVE to see join us - but Leon Bailey will not be one of em.

Inaki Williams scored again for Bilbao last night, he is absolute class and will be in the Premier League next season if he doesn't get hoovered up by Barca or Real.

Bailey is one hell of a talent, but as others have said, he's destined to go straight to a top 6 club. I think he would be savage if he went to Spurs but he'll have his pick.

Who knows? One thing is for sure, and that is that money talks. The Premier Leage, (along with La Liga), is where it's at the moment, and ok, so Bayer Leverkausen may be in the Champions League next season, but they don't stand much chance of winning the thing!

The truth is that none of us outside the club, and only very few within it, know who we are looking at at any given time, so anything could happen.

If we offer them Skalak plus cash (we pay them cash to take Skalak off our hands) we might then be in with a chance.

Compliment Jose? He’s about 10 times better. And considering he cost Leverkusen the same amount of money in January 2017 as we paid for Jose in August 2017 - it shows how much inflation we have to pay by being in England than in Europe.

He's literally one of the best prospects in the entire world. There is more chance of signing Pele. If he's on our radar, then our radar needs recalibrating.

Compliment Jose - something like 'Nice run Jose' or maybe 'Great shot Jose'? I'm sure we have a few other players already who could do the job :lolol:

Good Joke, not a chance in hell.

Next you will be pointing out Timo Werner for Leipzig.

:ffsparr::lolol: these are my two reactions. And both are in equal measure.

But no, not a chance. He's far, far too good for us at the moment.

But by playing in the CL, even for Leverkusen, he can ply his trade against the best in the world and show them he is worth the money. If he doesn't go to a top 6 side here (assuming he comes to the PL) i'll be v surprised.

His next transfer will be for 100 million euros plus. He is not coming to us, and even if we were going to spend that sort of money, he would not choose us. He’s already at a club that is a far better proposition, having won the UEFA cup, been runners up in the Champions league and regularly competing for league honours at a major world league.
