Fair play to Southgate that he realises we have no decent creative midfielders, so rather than waste time with the likes of Wilshere he picks defenders like Maguire, Trippier, Young and Walker that will create from the back.

The players in form are Sterling, Lingard, Vardy and Kane. They pose a threat, I like that. It's just a shame that not only have we not got any creative midfielders but we haven't even got decent muscular, mobile ones like Dembele, Wanyama, Pogba.
