I'm from Bruges, he was our best central defender without a doubt. He was pretty good in the passing department as well for a defender.

I think he could win the 3rd CB job comfortably and be a back up full back too. I love it as a squad signing. Not every player we bring in needs to start in the PL.
May go out on a limb and say he'll play a fair bit of left back before January too unless we see some distinct improvement there.

I think because our club believes in the other centre-backs we brought in this summer and he was promised a tranfer this summer.
Really upsetting this move on the last day for us as I find it a huge risk letting him go. But it's pretty cool he is going to Brighton as I plan on watching as many games as I can, mainly for Izquierdo.
