If he wins this then he will have won more manager of the month award in 2018 than anyone else. I shall quote this widely for at least a month.

You have to go way, way back to the 2017/18 season and Darren Moore for the last time.

Yes, better record than Guardiola - although Man C won at Spurs and thrashed Brurnley 5-0 at home, they only drew at Anfield, couldn't even score, disgrace!

Errrrr-Hughton has a better record than Guardiola for October!

Bournemouth played an extra game at start of month over the other contenders and had 3 wins and a draw (home against lowly Saints) for month, versus our 3 wins.

Not sure how all that gets viewed by the decision makers.

As an aside in the first 10 years of the history of football Wenger x5 and Houllier x3 were the only managers from outside the British Isles to get the award.
10 different nationalities in the last 2 years.

Back to relegations.

Brian McDermott. Reading 2012/13
Manager of the month ...... January
Presented with the award Feb 6th.
Sacked 4 defeats and 33 days later.
A rejuvenated Reading under the inspirational leadership of Nigel Adkins get 5 points from their last 10 games and ....
Get relegated.

11 points adrift

3 points above Harry's QPR.

Harry collects a huge bonus.
(Probably)
