Avoiding Swedish things could include giving these a swerve:

Politeness
Punctuality
Social conscience
Humility

Actually, they sound pretty nice. Maybe we should let them win.

Trust me, if you lived there punctuality is not something you’d associate with them!

Meat balls
Pear cider
Abba
Saunas
The Bridge

...anything else?
Sorry but the sauna originates from Finland. And according to my Finnish sister in law the correct way to pronounce it is 'Sow-na' and not 'Saw-na'.

Sorry to let the side down, I was thinking of having a pear cider tonight

I'm afraid I've let the side down too. Completely caved, in fact.

Spent last night eating meat balls and drinking pear cider and Skol while watching The Bridge, and was then up early this morning to go to the sauna before borrowing my mate's Volvo to drive to Ikea while listening to Abba on the car stereo and being ****** *** by a statuesque blond beauty.

If we lose, blame me.
