I can't see why we can't get him and even if we can't why shouldn't we try? He's still young and a product of the youth system there? I imagine he's not on huge wages. Assuming he doesn't sign the deal that's been offered him he would be available for free. Have a go I say, him in a front 3 would be very decent at championship level.

Is CH only ever be interested in failing past team olayers, the last thing we need is a 3 goals in 60 game midfielder/forward.

Read the article again. West Brom & Everton are interested.

No, he wouldn't. He was 23 on 1 May, so as he is under 24 Newcastle would be due compensation (and that may be the MAIN reason he was offered a new contract, as many Newcastle-watchers were surprised by it).

So, we have a player "on our radar" who is also wanted at Everton, West Brom, Burnley and Wolves and has been offered a new contract at Newcastle :lolol:

It's pretty clear who's being thrown bones by the club this summer and it ain't Naylor.

Nail on Head. Naylor clearly has no inside track at the club, perhaps he ruffled a few feathers, but Bozza has far better contacts it would appear.

Is this some sort of sick Joke after missing out on the Zamora story? He is not a striker & if he leaves the toon, he is Premier League bound - why take such a huge backwards step, he is quite good? Transfer window so far - Bozza 1 - Naylor 0.

I can't see why we wouldn't get him and would be surprised if there is genuine interest from Everton and West Brom.

I'd imagine that Newcastle have offered him a new deal so they can get a bit of compensation as mentioned above.

I haven't seen him that many times but when I have he's seemed tricky but lacking in end product. 3 goals in the 63 games seems to back this up. This is not the exciting transfer story I was hoping for.
