British kids love their £70+ backpacks.
Yes I have noticed this, £70 backpack but no other Fjall Raven clothing
My daughter and all her mates got them last year. Well made but just a backpack; must be an amazing profit margin.
I have got a Fjall Raven coat which is very good quality, but my backpack which I don't use that often came from Mountain Warehouse for about £20, does a job and good value for 20 notes.
I like Mountain Warehouse stuff. We get good value ‘layers’ for skiing from MW as our kids have grown through sizes. Like you I bought a quality outer jacket (for me) but by the Canadian company Arc’teryx ... very expensive ... in the range mentioned by others in this thread on other brands. But it should last me 10 plus years.

I’ve got a black 2 part North Face which I wear with my New England Patriots Bobble Hat, as you can imagine both garments stayed at home for the Palace Game....
Cos its from Japan innit? Or slightly more accurately, brand born and designed in Milton Keynes.
