It's unrealistic to expect #BarberOut to remain CEO (or even Deputy Chairman) of the Albion until he retires. So, in that sense, it's only a matter of time until he leaves, presumably for a bigger &/or better job. I've no idea whether he'd consider CEO of the FA a better job, but, to my eyes at least, it's definitely a bigger job. If Spuds came knocking, I'd be seriously worried - he'd surely take that?

For all the minor irritations, and most of them are very minor, and for all of the sometimes poor communication style, the club get all the big decisions just about spot on. He's a massive part of that, and I, for one, will be very sorry to see him leave, and will be pretty worried about who succeeds him as it's hard to think how someone else could do better in the round.

Mine's a pint, Paul.
