Yes, it is behaving itself, (or the ads are)
What ads? The only one I see is the 'sponsored' ad about half way down the list of threads. Nothing at the top or bottom of any screens.

So far, so good. On Friday reading threads on NSC was getting my laptop so worked up it sounded like it was trying to take off the fan was working so hard (all the while with those little "what I'm currently trying to load" notices at the bottom of the window flashing through a series of ad source links). None of that so far today.

Chrome is also fine for me now- I still have AdBlock Plus switched on though.

Maybe it was all about revenue and the millions of ads trying to load ?
3 (three) small banner ads, 2 of which most people probably rarely notice.

I switched my AdBlock Plus off when Bozza said he'd removed a lot of ads, and it's behaving itself quite well now on Chrome.
