That's very debatable. I've always had Gully down as a female. I can't say I've ever noticed a bulge in Gully's in-between. Pretty obvious to me it's a female.

As far as I understand, Gully has the dangly bits and 'Sally' has the neat bits. Not sure who "Craig-David-Gull" is on the left. He could be a pigeon, but if he was Gully and Sally should be chasing him round the field shitting on him.
