remember being inside goldstone when players paraded around the touchline celebrating promotion in 79 after the Newcastle away game
They couldn't walk on pitch as it was a dug up looking ploughed field, also remember Lawrenson walking round with his arm in a sling
All of the above is very vague in my distant memory seeing as I was only about 11

They dug up the pitch almost immediately post Blackburn due to the smoke bombs being released in the South goal.
They went on a double decker have a picture of Peter Sayer and Teddy Maybank somewhere. I was 11 as well. [emoji2]

How about Preston Park to i360? The players could alight the bus to board the pod and be literally hoisted aloft
Love the idea. Not sure us mere mortals will hear the speeches from ground level though.

Have followed NSC as a guest for many years but only recently 'joined up'. Started at the Goldstone in the 50's, when you knew matches would be on a Saturday afternoon, the team format was always 1-2-3-5, with my "3" being Willard - McCoy - Wilson and with Frankie Howard and Billy Reid scampering up and down the wings. Happy Days - and now some more promised.

The Gus Poyet parade thingy was crap. About half the people who were at the Mickey Adams/Hove Town Hall one turned up. Seemed to remember it was partly the route but mostly the day that was chosen! Let's hope lessons were learnt!

Yeah that was a Sunday about a month after we'd won the league. Of we could book it for Sat 13th (assuming we don't **** it up) that would be excellent

I think the pararade in Brighton and Hove is a must but I would love to see a tour of the shire.
