All joking aside, what is the par score for us today at Manchester City?

We got lucky last year when we played them. This year they're far less likely to be coasting through the game.

4-0 or 5-0 is probably about it, right?

I've put them down for 5 on a score predictor thing I do in the office

6 - 1 against Huddesfield; we want to be better than them.
3 - 0 against Fulham
2 - 0 against Newcastle

So on average, Man City scoring 3.66 goals, and the opposition scoring 0.3.

Happy to bet you a quid it doesn't finish 3.66 - 0.3 to them.

I’d be well happy with 0.3 goals today for us.

I think if we can hold a goal lead going into the last 15mins, we'll have a chance for a goal on the break for a 2 goal victory margin. They won't be expecting that.

Just keeping the goal difference down would be a result

I'm looking at it in terms of 15 minute segments. There are 6 of them in the match (ignoring injury time) and if we can match City for several of those that would be a success.

So if we get to 15 minutes at 0-0 then we've done well. Then we go again for the next 15.

Yep it's definitely all dependent on the first 15-20 minutes (where's the cliche thread when you need it)
We know the Albion are capable of defending well, albeit somewhat last ditched.

City will score, but their minds will also turn to next week's Champions League, hopefully the team can keep it tight and City will just be held to a couple of goals.

1 down early and we is screwed.

In Fantasy Football – a team's designated captain, Aguero in my case, will give double points every match (points are scored for goalscoring and assists). However once in a season you are able to choose a match to yield triple points.

Just don't want it to begin like Leicester away last season. That was so depressing a start on the radio (though in the end not a drubbing)
