I wouldn't imagine that unfair dismissal could be realistically considered in this case.

How on earth can he claim unfair dismissal when he's pleaded guilty to a charge of sexual activity with a child?

In contravention of his contract as soon as he pleaded guilty to two charges for each of which he could receive a substantial sentence. It's in the standard player's contract.
Admirable that Sunderland had the balls to act.

Your sentiments are right but the charges are a little more than kissing. I think the charges he has accepted carry a sentence of about 2 1/2 years where as the two that he has denied carry a sentence of 10 years.
