Ahh, that'll be it. I was too busy cowering behind my dad at the time.
Looked a perfectly good goal from behind the goal, although i spent the next 10 minutes trying to find one of my shoes. All went a bit manic...that i do remember.

2005, Boxing Day fixture at the Withdean against QPR. A family friend gave us some tickets to see the game, and I still have my own ticket stub from that same match. IIRC, it ended 0-0.

EDIT: It actually finished 1-0 to us, I checked on Wikipedia.

1958 for me. First time promoted to the then Second division. Don't recall my first match, but do remember the game against Middlesborough, we lost 4-6. Dave Sexton got a hat trick for us inside 3 minutes.

Boxing day '67 - Gillingham - Uncle & Dad took me to walk off Christmas - think we won 3-1 - I was only 7 - stood on a little fold-up chair in the East.

Managed to find a programme of the game on eBay a few years ago - makes for interesting reading
