OK so if Propper is out injured, and with no fit replacement, we push Gross back into midfield with Stephens leaving us with one of:

Knockaert
March
Brown
Izquierdo

slotting into Gross' position

Right?

Of those Brown is the most natural number 10.

Gross deeper , Brown in Gross position.

We don't need this !

This will be what we'll do. Hopefully it's not a bad injury and he's only pulling out as it's a bit of a dead rubber? (I think Netherlands have to win 6-0??).

Recalling players with slight injuries so they don't have to play in 'nothing' games? We have ARRIVED :)

Didn't Hemed have a slight thigh strain in the last round of internationals, and missed the second Israel game?

That doesn't tell us anything more that Andy Naylor's tweet.

Hopefully the same "injury" Hemed had in the last international break. If not it's either Gross in to CM and a change at 10 or Molumby who was on the bench at Arsenal.

Molumby would be my choice ...if there is a silver lining re the injury and that it’s thigh and not calf..the latter seems to take ages :moo:

Gone for Holland to win and both teams to score (5/2) tonight.

If the Dutch get a couple of early goals it'll be testimonial stuff with end-to-end action. Just hope the crowd get behind the home side and not on their backs.

Brown is our best No 10 for me.

On the basis he has played a handful of minutes at right wing against Man City and 90 mins up top against Arsenal?

In comparison, Gross has played every game in the no.10 role apart from Arsenal where he was a bit deeper and has 2 goals and 2 assists

This could be a PROPPER setback for the team.

Probably just a minor injury which is not worth risking in a nothing game. Would hope he'll still be fit for the Everton game.
