Hughton says 2 more - centre back and winger.

So I guess that means Suttner, Norwood or Towell could be in the 25? I suspect Suttner most likely.

I go along with this. Use Baldock as the fourth winger or Schelotto at a pinch. Looks like we will be 4-4-1-1 when I still favour 4-3-3. Hemed to stay as well. Norwood and Skalak to depart at cost.

Just a spare centre half. 23 yo? Big one as cover for Duffy, replacement for Goldson. Ideally left footed.

Then to practice set pieces at both ends.
Not impressed by the right footed Alfie Mawson.

Newcastle are after another central defender as well.

I can't see Hemed going, he's played a lot of pre season and why swap a perfectly good back up striker for another? New Home Grown CB will finish it I think, with Suttner replaced being the next most likely option, although still not all that likely.

Towell, Skalak and Norwood out, maybe an U21 loan from a top six team after the 8th if it was a good fit though.

The HGP is the biggest issue. We will need more midfielders than defenders due to form and tactical changes during the season so I'd be happy as we are at the back. We don't need an 8th HGP but can only name 17 non HGP's so keeping Norwood isn't a necessity, 24 decent players working together could be better than having a 25th who upsets the team morale. We may find a Matty Upson like loan, an experienced player who isn't getting game time.

I'd be very happy to start with the current squad which is not something I can ever remember saying in
July of any other season
