which is presumably why he didnt take that option. he wasnt really "almost a passenger", he just had the route presented to him in a list of many.

It's really striking when looking at the list of players we had under Adams II and Slade how few of them I can remember. Not just can't remember seeing them play but literally have no idea who they were. I wonder if I'll be feeling the same about Emmanuel Ledesma and the likes in 5 years time.
