I agree with those who don't think this means CMS is off. Sami keeps repeating the need for a large squad in order to rotate to cope with the demands of the Championship. Selling CMS, unless we get offered a deal we can't refuse (which is unlikely), would be one step forward, one step back again. Had Fenelon looked like he could cope the thinking may have been different, but he's clearly some way off at this stage of his career and needs another decent L1 loan spell at least.

Sure one more striker coming in, may well leave us enough room to 'make some money'.
But that's just not the case, at the moment, esp playing for a manager that's prepared to have more strikers on the pitch than defensive midfielders.
Why are people like you obsessed with offloading players especially strikers as soon as we sign someone? We should be building a squad and the bigger the better. This is a very strong league and to many times we haven't scored enough goals to win games or kill games off.
We now have the luxury of rotating our strikers. Something that was unheard of the last few years.

If CMS goes I will be very sad indeed, hope this isn't the case.
Although his contract is going to run out soon, so it would be better to get something for him now, instead of lose him for free next summer.
