As a non EU citizen i am also not envisaging being unable to get on the ferry to France in the future. You worry about that as well if it turns you on........i dont know how some of you get out of bed in the morning.

Given your track record on this thread I can accept your belief that these attacks share no connection or underlying root cause, but like much of what you post, you are in a very special minority group on that one. That is the bones of it.

The attack in Dusseldorf may well have been terrifying for those present, but it was not a terror attack as far as I am aware. The man arrested at the scene had mental health issues, so in what way was there a connection to any other incident?

You may be right, for all I know, but as I watch German Telly most nights, they have definite form in denying that a terrorist incident is indeed a terrorist incident. I still recall the ZDF presenter assuring his viewers after the New Years eve attacks in Koln, 15 months ago that no asylum seeker was involved . .

I think you are vastly underestimating the ability for these negotiations to turn sour. Whilst I too think that crashing out of the EU will not happen, it would be infinitely less surprising than the Grand National winners you suggest. I would put the chances somewhat closer to the odds you could have got on a Trump/Brexit win double this time last year.
