They had miles more than 1800 incl 2 of my Stoke mates who wore a camel outfit! Charging towards the North they came, but after Leeds the game before, a very different feeling.

Perhaps this is where the discrepancy in the crowd figure comes from? Perhaps so many Stoke fans can as camels or pantomime horses and the turnstile operators counted them as 1 'person' instead of 2? Maybe there were a few fancy dress centipedes in there as well?
