So let's try again, although I fear you'll dodge the question yourself. Given that - having signed the GFA, we are now looking to change the status quo of free movement across the EU, of which both sides of the Irish border are members - what is YOUR solution to it?

The solution is stop free movement, free movement will be ending, Corbyn and May are as one on this issue
The CTA will obviously apply to Ireland/UK as it always has

You'll need to frame an answer with reference to movement of goods, services and people across that border to avoid dodging the question.

Services are not included in a customs union, can you have another go

Do you not think it would be marginally less embarrassing if you went back to your really nasty porn and gave it a break from posting on here for a bit

What are the advantages of joining a customs union where we have no vote no veto no influence or input on our international trade or the international trade The EU will do on our behalf, because we will be out of the EU body that makes these decisions?

Good case for remaining Pretty Pastafairy, well done.

This is what disgusts me about the Brexit debate, people like you politicising The GFA because you have run out of excuses to overturn Brexit. You should be ****ing ashamed of yourself.....but you wont be,your infantile moral pomposity is skewed only to acknowledge your own bigotry

I’ve no real skin in this game but my observation is the the politicisation of the GFA came from your side. I was really shocked when I started to hear people belittling it. Hooey, JRM, Farage et al.

His answer is to accuse you of being "unpatriotic" for daring to question anything.

To be fair, our dear NSC Brexiteers seem as united and as capable of instilling confidence in our position as the cabinet.

Apparently I'm a left wing extremist :lolol:

Here is a question for you then

Are technological solutions with regard to Ireland being discussed between the European Union and the UK as an alternative to a last option customs union?
You have said no.
Do you stick by that?

Who is a woman? how is ***** an anti feminine swear word?

The poster you've variously accused of being unpatriotic, vile ****, should be ***** ashamed of herself, a bigot, infantile, and morally pompous etc (and that last one really is rich coming from you)

She served in The Royal Navy too, but carry on - I'm sure you know best. Perhaps you've got some new wisecracks about migrants drowning to share like that the one you told last week too.

Thanks for the answer. So you are going for two borders, Ireland/NI and NI/Rest of Britain. It would be interesting to see how you would get Ireland and the DUP on board with this as I suspect they would both say 'it's the worst of both worlds' and block it. I can't see any solution being acceptable to all parties outside of the/a customs union and all that entails.

This issue has been there since before the vote (indeed it was bought up in the campaigning) but it just got kicked into the long grass for as long as possible.

The border on the mainland has always been there though.

I know. I just don't think it's a workable solution because of Ireland and the DUP. This issue has been there all along and nobody has been able to come up with a solution which is implementable. If there was a solution then the Government would have leapt on it and agreed it 20 months ago.

Us: "We don't want a hard boarder"
Ireland: "We don't want a hard boarder"
The EU: "We don't want a hard boarder"

EU draft text: "Let's have a hard boarder"

Everyone goes batshit crazy.
