Lewis Dunk’s youth team mates. Anyone know who they are and if they’re still playing. The only one I know is to the left of LD. Its Connor Wilkins who is Dean Wilkins son. Only know that because I used to see him in the pub with DW.

After 10min, honestly this is one of the toughest Spot The Difference challenges I've seen.

Yep. Sorry I’m a dipstick. So pleased with myself that I managed to copy it from the Argus and upload it and then it comes up twice. No idea at all how to cancel one of them so you have it twice. Keep looking for the differences by all means though

From left to right: James Smith, Leon Redwood (changed his name from Leon Wright), Mitch Walker (GK), Conor Wilkins, Lewis Dunk, Ryan Thomson and Lee Coooper. (George Barker was an eighth new scholar for season 2008-09 but was only taken on a couple of weeks after this photo was taken).

As to their current whereabouts:

James Smith - After one year as a pro at Albion in 2010-11 he went off to the States, attending Lees-McRae College from 2011 to 2015. Obtained a Masters in Kinesiology and Exercise Science at East Tennessee State University between 2015 and 2017. In February 2016 he became the new FC Dallas Tri-Cities U-17 Girls Select Head Coach (and Sports Scientist) in Johnson City, Tennessee.

Leon Redwood - Currently with Lewes.

Mitch Walker - Signed a two-year contract with Albion in August 2009 that was extended by a year in June 2010. However, was told he could leave at the end of the 2010-11 season. Remained with Albion in 2011-12, with a loan spell at Eastbourne Borough. Joined Dover Athletic in the summer of 2012 where he remains to this day, having made over 250 appearances.

Conor Wilkins - Was playing for Peacehaven in 2017-18.

Lewis Dunk - Makes a living by signing new contracts with Albion.

Ryan Thomson - After one season as a pro with Albion in 2010-11 he moved on to Whitehawk, Hastings Utd, Bognor, Burgess Hill and Shoreham (on dual registration forms). Last seen with the Hillians in 2013-14.

Lee Cooper - Wasn't offered a professional contract by Albion at the end of his scholarship. Had spells at Walton Casuals, Lewes, Burgess Hill, Dorking Wanderers, Hassocks and Crawley Down in 2013-14.

Had the pleasure (and punishment) of playing alongside and against most of them.

Dunk and Thomson were the two stand outs up to about U16 level.

Not sure why Thomson never kicked on, as he was a very good central midfielder, always a few seconds ahead of everyone else.

With Lewis you could even tell at 15/16 he would end up being a ball playing centre half. He had played in midfield a fair bit before reaching that age and his range of passing was outrageous, complemented by his composure and reading of the game. Although Jacob Schilt (RIP) would probably tell you he read it even better than Dunky through the years they partnered each other at centre back!

Did Jacob really play CB!?

I presume Dunk took all the headers, and he swept behind?
