Seem to recall that she was a northern club comic who used to hang around with the likes of Jimmy Jones and Chubby Brown before strangely becoming a kids TV performer.

I think she's great, you should see her on this program, classic
Oh god, I saw that at the time. She was horrific at times. Occasionally admirable ( in the face of all the orange-faced Trump fans) but generally obnoxious.

caught the end of a documentary about Rod Hull, seems that he was quite unlikeable towards the end, really resented the act but understood what it brought him. The lady who played Grotbags said on the last day of filming the show they'd expected to have a post production party, Hull walks in the dressing room and tells them the meal ticket is over.
