Can somebody please have a reality check.
1. We cant attract players, is that the Boards fault, McGees or more likely it’s the fact that we cant afford to break our wage structure, which is probably mid to lower league 1 level.
2. Even the £150k bandied about will only get us a middling league 1 player (unless we strike gold as per Zamora).
3. Towards the end of the transfer window, it is very much is a sellers market if a player is under contract (and they usually are at this stage). Clubs know that we are desperate and can ask what they like when a player is contracted to them.
4. We are skint nearing bankruptcy, which leads us back to point 1 and 2.
5. We will continue to be skint unless we get Falmer, or somehow lower the operating costs of withdean.
6. In our present circumstances, we are a middling league 1 club in conference facilities, whilst being fleeced by a Withdean rental agreement at Premiership levels
7. It is clear that our financial situation is worse than what is was in Adams/Taylor/Coppells days
8. To believe that we are a big club, is utter crap. We never have been, but we could be if and when we get Falmer. We are on our knees, and players know it too!!!!
