Following Monday night’s FA Cup clash against Hull, Albion entertain current cup holders Wigan in the Championship this Saturday.

Although the Seagulls have to face a replay on Monday night, followers of this column were rewarded with a 16/1 payout on the headline tip, ALBION/DRAW on the HALF-TIME/FULL-TIME category. In fact, followers of my Twitter account bhaFerret) were urged to back that option again at 18/1 after the odds drifted in the face of support for an outright win for Hull.
So having topped up our betting bank, what are the value odds for the visit of Wigan? Brighton have been installed as 6/5 favourites by Sky Bet, with the Latics offered at 9/4. Representing the best value however is the DRAW at 23/10.
BRIGHTON/DRAW is again 16/1 in the HALF-TIME/FULL-TIME category and should be backed to pay-out for a second time in succession, while for those whose bets need to reflect their Brighton predisposition should look closely at DRAW/BRIGHTON at a tempting 9/2, four times longer than the outright price.
With doubts over the likely starting line-up, bets on the first goalscorer should be kept to sensible levels, but DAVID LOPEZ (10/1) could be worth a tickle.
I’ll be online from around 2:15 with some late tips on Twitter - bhaFerret.
