So frustrating! We should have taken that corner short to run down the clock, instead of which it was cleared resulting in Knocky’s yellow card tackle and the penalty. Very naïve on our part. You don’t take a long corner at 86 minutes when you’re 1-0 ahead.

Ryan 8. Very good performance … and that double save at the end! Getting better with every game.
Bruno 6. Set up the goal, but out-jumped a couple of times in the second half by their winger and then gave away the penalty. Worrying.
Dunk 9. A couple of misplaced long passes, but otherwise another excellent game.
Duffy 8. Another great performance before his injury. Hopefully nothing long term.
Suttner 7. Getting better with every game. Looked good defensively and going forward.
Stephens 6. Some good stuff, but too many misplaced passes and slow to react at times.
Propper 7. Classy. A couple of misplaced passes, but improving all the time.
March 9. Another great game.
Knockaert 7. Well taken goal, but poor first half. Needs to stop complaining.
Gross 8. Incredible energy and lots of skill.
Murray 7. Won most stuff in the air and held the ball up well. Few too many offsides. Will improve with more game time.
Subs:
Hunemeir 7. Slotted in well. Some great tackles.
Izquierda 7. A couple of decent looking shots. He’s quick!
Brown N/A

Think you're being a tad generous on Murray there. I thought he was generally poor.

I'd also say that March had a decent game but probably not a 9 game.

Mind you, he certainly didn't have as bad a game as Fotmob seem to think he did...

Ryan was excellent today MOM
Suttner had his best game so far
Dunk & Duffy excellent as usual
Bruno good until - what were you thinking?
Propper starting to show real vision
Murray - clearly lacking match fitness.

Agree with all of that except the worry about Bruno. He’ll be fine come Friday night.

Ryan - 8 - Excellent. Several fine saves.
Bruno - 6 - At his best in the lead up to our goal, but looks very exposed when the other side counters. Silly penalty.
Duffy - 7 - Cracking tackle on Rooney early on - let's hope the injury is nothing too serious
Dunk - 9 - Totally dominant again and excellent on the ball
Suttner - 7 - Perhaps his best game yet? Put some good balls into the box. Competition from Bong looks as though it will bring the best out of him

Knockaert - 6 - Still not at his best, but deserved his goal
Propper - 8 - Some lovely touches with a tenacious streak today. The pick of our midfield
Stephens - 6 - Frustrating. Won the ball really well at times, but careless / wasteful in possession
Gross - 7 - not his best game, but still influential
March - 7 - always threat, but needed more of the ball

Murray - 4 - Sluggish and generally a shadow of last year's Super Glenn.

Subs:

Brown - 7 - decent cameo and unlucky not to score to make it 2-0
Izquierdo - 7 - lively - looked a threat
Hunemeier - 7 - solid

Ref: 4

Ryan - super performance, very assertive and some great saves 8
Bruno - sublime to ridiculous, a brilliant football brain but has moments of madness 6
Dunk - strong performance, never lets you down 7
Duffy - for me MOM, he is such a presence and his heading is simply outstanding 8.5
Suttner - good performance, probably doesn’t get as much credit as he deserves 7
Stephens - great at breaking up attacks but occasionally careless in possession 7
Propper - working really well with Stephens, would like to see a bit more attacking intent 7
March - so consistent, great team player. Early contender for player of the season 7
Knockaert - some good moments and is adapting to PL. Good goal but I think once he gets his head straight he will take it to another level 6.5
Gross- really is our most important goal contributor whether it creating or scoring, crucial player for us and our most astute signing of the Summer 7
Murray - Feel like I am bein unfair but he really frustrated me today too many offsides and not quite on the same wavelength as his teammates although he worked very hard. Refs really don’t like him. 6
Subs - all made positive contributions and when we have Baldock, Kayal, Sidwell and Hemed back we will have some depth although a striker is still a major priority come January.

Thought we were generally poor in the first half but excellent in the second.

Ryan 8 MOTM. Excellent today, I'm going to get irritated with him joining in the goal celebration soon though.
Bruno 6. Some magical moments particularly for the goal....but..
Duffy 8 fantastic tackle on Rooney in the first half and solid as a rock. Hope the injury isn't too serious
Dunk 7.5. For once felt he was slightly behind his partner. Great block in the first half. Missed his yellow. What was it for?
Sutter. 7.5 thought he was excellent today
Knockert. 7.5. Good performance and goal. hope he kicks on now
Stephens 6 decidedly average today. Too many loose balls
Propper 6.5. Slightly better than his partner
March. 7 decent enough was surprised he got the MOTM shout. I must have missed something.
Gross. 7 got better in the second half
Murray 5 not match sharp. Will need to improve

Hunemeier 6.5. Great cover to have. Love the BFG
Izquierdo 6.5. Looks a threat. Will come into his own soon.
Brown 6.5. Should have been given longer IMO

Ryan - 9 (those two reaction saves at the end were genuine David De Gea levels of outstanding)

Suttner - 7
Duffy - 8
Dunk - 8
Bruno - 6 (was decent but can't justify giving him anything higher than that after what he did)

March - 8
Pröpper - 7
Stephens - 6
Knockaert - 7

Groß - 7 (improved hugely in second half)

Murray - 4 (appreciate that he's still getting himself match sharp but he was dreadful, so many offsides and too sluggish, desperately need Hemed back)

Subs

Brown - 6 (did what he could)
Izquierdo - 7 (completely changed flow of the game after he came on)
Uwe - 7 (ol' reliable as always)
