Considering some of our recent performances I didn't think we were that bad. Holgate, Keane and Pickford the pick of the bunch. Vlasic was good. Sigurdsson disappeared for large periods of time and I'm still not sure what Schneiderlin brings to the team, other than dozy recklessness.
That said, the ref was awful and Brighton are a bunch of cynical skill-free grocks, which makes a draw all the more underwhelming.

Part of the disbelief about the penalty from those of us at the other end of the ground was that the Everton fans didn't seem at all animated by the prospect of an equaliser from the spot. You'd never have guessed from their reaction that they'd been given a penalty at all. Just downright odd.
