We've booked a room inside the old Prison at the top of Old Hall St. In Liverpool. Will be based there for both Games. It's dirt cheap and massive...you get to sleep on a mezzanine we stayed there before and it's great. 5 minutes from Lime St and the town centre. Marvellous scenes.

I'll never forget "the battle of canvey island" in the cup. We were going toe to toe with West Ham (they weren't playing that day) who turned up in numbers to have a crack at us.

A terrifying day was had by all.

I was at both games, I can assure you I was nowhere near any of that

You must have heard about it though. There was a massive off in the high st. No cops anywhere. Very very scary afternoon.

Those that are doing Liverpool Saturday what’s your thinking? We were going to drink around concert square and the docks but weather is looking crap currently. Anyone know if there is any non-league footie left as a back up?

Cheers. Not sure the other half will let me get away with it next year though. Normally average about 7/8 away games a year!
