As VTEC has just gone back into public ownership I doubt taxpayers would want to own two franchises

 we pay for them either way.

Not entirely true and the Government claimed the previous EC franchise they run after NETL walked made a profit of which it naturally did as they made zero investment at all.

How come there's no major 'trackside fire' or 'buckled rail' delays when there usually is at this time of year in this neck of the woods at far lower daytime temperatures? Welcome news obviously. But how much of it is down to better trackside management and how much of it is down to fierce political pressure to make the trains run on time? Just asking, like.

To be fair he wasn't a specialist in legal matters either as Justice Secretary, not sure if he is a specialist in anything but failure

to be fair Westminster is full of ‘I’m not an expert’, which if you are Michael ‘I’m proud to be the biggest c**t in the universe’ Gove is deemed to be a positive blessing. When was the last time a minister of any political persuasion could be classed as being an expert for there ministerial area of responsibility. The real problem are the ‘experts’ that they surround themselves with.

dont think any amount of fierce political pressure can prevent rails buckling, though it is odd that it hasn't happened. different type of heat?

They've been replaced, by signal/point/power supply failures, faulty trains and 'operational incidents'.

Sorry to bring up and old thread but it seemed the one most rail users were in and out of.

I have recently been given £297 worth of e-vouchers from Thameslink for additional compensation but have no use for them as I have a season ticket. Would anyone that has a renewal coming up like to buy them from me so I can use the cash instead?

I mistakenly filled out the additional compensation forms incorrectly and now Thameslink have told me its tough and im stuck with these rail vouchers.

Cheers

Sorry to bump this but anyone interested at all? Effectively I could buy your monthly or weekly ticket and pass me the cash so I can use these vouchers up?

Any help is much appreciated.
