After a good post maiden run Bell Tower looks a solid pick for a place, could go in. Form Jockey and stable.
FRC is in top form with Champion jockey on Board (Gavin Lerena).

As the tips come straight from the camel's mouth, have gone a fiver e/w on one and a fiver win on t'other.

Though I can't help but notice that the favourite for the 1.25 is the excellently-named Sweaty Betty :lolol:

Ridiculously close cavalry charge finish for the 1.25 from Vaal. About a dozen horses in the frame. Including Bell Tower just out of the places. Good entertainment, if only to hear an Afrikaner commentator repeatedly say Switty Bitty :lolol:

2.05 Vaal. Fish River Canyon got a perfect unchallenged run on the inside rail but fizzled out a long way from home.

Oh well.

Just nice to see some racing go ahead in some half-decent conditions. It's about four months since we last saw that over here.

There was no racing today.

The first race tomorrow is the 13:45 at Southwell.

There is an 8am inspection at Lingfield tomorrow. The course is currently covered in light snow with more snow showers forecast.

I had 2 winners and 2 placed up to my tips and the rest of the day tanked. Oh well will have a look at Fairview tomorrow or see if anythings running at Southwell.
