You’re right of course, but I’m sure determined individuals could get anything past minimum wage workers having to frisk 30,000 people. Flasks are one of many.

To be clear, we will not be permitting any drinks to be brought in to the stadium - in flasks, bottles, cans, or other containers.
There will always be queues at HT in a football stadium. We have a 15 minute serving window and very limited space.
The catering staff will always work as hard as possible to serve as many people as they can - it’s how they make their money.
Service in a football stadium is only made faster by limiting the menu to very few items. However, this is not what our fans want.
We do serve tea and coffee outside the stadium in a dedicated specialised unit, and also on our concourses.
Again, like all football stadiums, we are limited by space to create specialist tea and coffee units inside the stadium itself.

Yeah, but the queue for frisking was long enough as it is on Sunday. I don’t want to be stuck behind Mr and Mrs Flask whilst they argue with the stewards because ‘they’ve always brought tea to football’, eventually struggle to open their vessel, show the contents, taste it in front of the stewards, carry on moaning etc and then put the lid back on whilst in the meantime the rest of us wait in line..........
......and when we do get inside the ground, they leave their bloody tartan tea-holders there for everyone to trip over, along with their bags, sandwich boxes and blankets.
My fault for being in WSL I guess.

Most sporting events i go to outside of football allows you to go up and simply get frisked if you dont have a bag, or if you do have a bag join the "i have a bag" queue, where the contents can be rummaged through on a table............cant be that hard.
