Petty political games and grandstanding. A man despised by the vast majority of his own MP’s, trying to keep the shit flying.

Do any of them actually care about the effect of chaos on real lives and livelihoods?[/QUOTE]

I doubt it. I suspect the majority are in it for the wrong reasons.

100% agree.

He seems to be nothing more than a humourless sociopath, IMHO, and it would be a disaster if he ever ran the country.

He is more........the odious little man is also a traitor who supported terrorists at a time when they were murdering British soldiers & planting bombs in British cities.

Nearly a million fewer than the number who voted for a dreadful PM who ran the worst election campaign ever.

I'm not sure I'd be looking at Corbyn's 2017 election result as anything other than a piss-poor second in a two horse race.

(I recommended someone give you a shout about some possible work BTW)

Thanks.

13m voting for a socialist manifesto in my lifetime is incredible really. It was an amazing result given it was called to increase a commons majority that only strengthened the opposition.

They made a HUGE mistake of forming a coalition and will NEVER be forgiven (even though what has happened with the other two parties has been far worse)

I don't think it reflects well on the British electorate that it is recognised by so few what a great job they did In moderating Tory excesses and, until the election trail was hit again, enabling a strong and stable government to persist.

As the coalition was formed, many of those on here who lean left of centre were stating that it would all come crumbling apart within a matter of months and, much like their other political predictions, they were proved to be hopelessly inaccurate.

In our ridiculously polarised politics, with the Lib Dems repeatedly polling so badly, I also think there is generally a perception that a vote for them is wasted. If people believed they could do better, they'd receive more votes. They're in a bit of a catch-22 position.

13million people voted for him at the last election.

well it will be 12,999,999 this time. He is playing party politics the same as the Tories and offers nothing but the option to f*** up even more spectacularly than present bunch. Labour needs to swing to the right if it wants to win an election not isolate the centralist (Tory Reds) voters.

THEY formed a coalition?? It was the Tories that invited the Lib Dems to join them in a coalition government because no party had an overall majority. Clegg quite rightly acted in the national interest to form that government, a government consisting of 2 parties that had received 59% of the vote between them.

We're seeing now with the DUP that it is impossible to do business with the Tories, and Theresa's May abject failure to even try to reach any cross-party consensus in Parliament and her complete contempt for Corbyn and Labour shows that maybe the electorate's decision to punish to Lib Dems so severely was misguided at best. It is no coincidence that since the demise of the Lib Dems British politics has become polarised, divisive and - quite simply - paralysed.

The 2010/15 Coalition worked well IMO. Parties and individuals conceding points, compromising. They also worked with expert Labour MP’s on certain issues, such as Frank Field. Cameron, Osborne, Clegg and Cable were a quietly formidable team. The socialists and writers predicting its early collapse, got it all so wrong.

Obviously Labour supporters will always hate them, plus those against student loans (which Blair initiated) and those affected by the post-2008 crash austerity.

Would love to see a referendum on a vote of no confidence in our entire house of commons of mediocrities. Best advertisement for proportional representation I ever did see.

Total waste of time. I can't stand the man and I speak as an ex Labour Party member. I'm not sure whether he is malicious, stubborn or just plain stupid. The worst set of party leaders ever are facing the biggest challenge since the war and we are all being let down.

Can't see how this helps the country, simply eats up more time when all the focus should be on negotiating a workable deal.
