They surely knew what they were doing,so what is the point of a fine ? The only way to deal with any party that behaves this way is a By-election ?

Honestly can't see any point in running by-elections in these seats. Will just be a waste of tax payers money, which is better spent elsewhere.

The Tories will only increase their share of the votes in most of the seats, with the way that Labour & UKIP are now performing in recent council & national by elections.

We are currently living in an undemocratic democracy, where there is no effective or worthwhile opposition to the current government.

I wonder if you'll agree that we live in very interesting times, and extremely unstable times?

Definitely interesting, I think I'd say uncertain rather than 'extremely unstable' which seems a bit over dramatic.

Politicians in corruption scandal shocker!

Had enough of all the deceitful, lying, corrupt *******s (of ALL parties & persuasions) who put their own interests above ours and our country's.

Have voted in every election (local, national, European) throughout my life but the penny has at last dropped. I won't bother again.

I'll accept that amendment. Now, are we going to get promoted this season?

I'll take my lesson from Herr Tubthumper 's "7 point lead" thread and not tempt fate by answering that question.

Don't be silly. Nobody would vote for an IRA supporting faffer, who appears on TV flanked by pony-tailed Momentumistas and Islamic fundamentalists (someone can post the images - I can't be arsed).

I am (was) a lifelong labour voter and it is jokers like you, supporting Corbyn for (I suspect) comedy purposes (you don't seem red in tooth aand claw) that add to the agony, helping to prolong the reluctant tory vote (as it will be) who will guarantee a Tory hegemony, by supporting the Islington Idiot. Or pretending to, for comedy purposes. Stop. Now. Her Majesty's loyal opposition needs to be effective. FFS, Corbyn backs Brexit (most labour supporters don't). Don't start me off. He is a disgrace who has destroyed any chance of small s socialism for a generation. The cock. And he's so stupid he refuses to accept that he's the problem. He seems to think the only reason he does not have a MASSIVE lead in the polls is because the voters are thick. Or perhaps he doesn't even care if he wins or not. He has no concept of leadership. And you really think he's going to win a general election (or are so idiotic you think the only reason he won't is because people think like me, so its my fault?). So how are you going to get him to win? Clever cloggs. Make Corbyn win and I'll take you seriously. Or howl at the moon. Or make silly jokes. You decide. Idiot.
completely agree, as long as Corbyn remains as leader Britain is doomed to having the Tories in charge more than comfortably - he seems utterly unable to take advantage of any footholds he might gain from the ebb an d flow of political events, ridiculously fond of a publicity stunt and radiates an aura of one who suffers a superiority complex. Just imo, like.

you're overlooking the Tory back benches which week, not for the first time this parliament, overturned unpopular budget policy.

It's for reasons like this that I actually toyed with the idea yesterday evening after a Party political Broadcast of joining the Lib-Dems. How else can one realistically register one's position against the current shambles..... and that is a genuine question.

Wait. Corbyn will be gone before the next general election.

I gave you a thumbs up because you know what 'decimated' means.

Yes but in fact he's not correct. Common usage has transformed the meaning of the word to 'destroyed'. Its a bit like the word 'significant' which to interviewers on radio 5 means 'important' or 'meaningful' whereas to arch-hole academics like me it means P<0.05.

That said I draw the line at 'bought' in its common usage as a posh way of saying 'brought'. And its not just Daily Fail readers who say it -I know one Guardianista . . . .:ffsparr::catfight:

What makes you think that ? More chance of May being unseated than JC. Labour haven't had a budget unravel in 7 days, face unprecedented charges of election fraud, face the break up of the union due their own in party fighting and continually target the old, sick and disabled for cuts.

You really must try harder if you wish to troll serious threads

Twenty by elections?

They should enull the whole GE.
How long till somebody says that any legislation passed by the present government to be not legally passed thus ending the Brexit negotiations ?

you may have missed it, but the bill was passed in the commons by 494 to 122. thats passed by parliament, not the government.

If the Parliament is illegal so any legislation includes the referendum bill, think again

20 seats in question, as claimed involved, does not invalidate the entire parliament. if you want to go down this route, all other legislation is affected, including the Finance bill, so no income taxes to collect.

Oh, brilliant idea. Loads of expense to the taxpayers to organise the by-election. And the Tories get re-elected in another safe seat. Hit them where it hurts - they're all money grabbers, so fine them lots. That they won't like.

Common usage is decimating the English language. I suppose your one of the sorts that does'nt mind a greengrocers apostrophe because the language is in metamorphosis.
