Just a quick one...

Am in Gibraltar for the weekend. Is it possible to run around the rock (rather than have to go up it). Looking at my maps app it seems possible to follow a road completely around the peninsula but not sure all roads are public.

The authoritative view of NSC Runners would be most welcome.

Yep, that’s more or less the route I did when I was there. It’s a nice run up to the top as well though.........great views, say hello to the apes and of course downhill all the way back [emoji106]

Cheers! Just done it. Thought I’d taken a wrong turn when faced with a tunnel with a sign saying no pedestrians but decided to run through it. Couldn’t think of another way to get round.

Just got back from the Jigsaw Run at Dunsfold Aerodrome. I wasn't running it. Was cheering my wife on to a new PB. Definitely saw some Brighton and Hove Albion training shorts run past. Was it any of you?

Not me, but I was there... getting a massive chip time pb of 37:59. I was NOT expecting that!

Fantastic! Good stuff. I know the organisers like to big up the course’s PB potential. It is flat as a pancake but the wind invariably offers any gain you get from a flat-track. Good conditions today though. Enjoy your evening basking in a warm glow of satisfaction.

Not me - the closest I got was running in an Albion hat past the training ground :albion2: Well done to your Mrs for the PB.

Just before my run this morning, a mate sent me a stunning picture he took during today's Mt Fuji marathon. Marvellous scene!

I also have a spare entry so if someone wants to come with a mate then we have two between us. On the other hand if anyone has a mince Pie they'd like to swap or sell then I know an interested party.

If it’s who I think it is, said friend should stay off his bike after four pints ..... [emoji846]

Bloody Worthing!
Here's an irony. Been running for 30 years and OK have collected a few injuries but I'm still at it. Many of my acquaintances have, over the years, said things like, "why don't you just walk - you'll avid those injuries". This week struck down with man-flu I took their advice and went for a series of (fast) walks. Result: I can't put any weight on my right foot.
I'm sticking to running - once I get over my walking injury.

It's strange how a lot foot injuries don't have any effect on running. I've had this pain on the bottom of my left foot the last couple of weeks. It's just a bruise and a little bit of swelling which I think is a result of wearing my winter boots for the first time in about 6 months. It was really affecting my walking last week, I almost had a limp because it would hurt when I put my foot down. Absolutely no problem when it comes to running though, I don't feel a thing.
