Had the privelige of seeing the SLWG live at the Edinburgh festival a couple of times, very funny. Apparently they were as big as a very big thing indeed in their native Oz.

There's a golf course nearby with several hundred kangaroos residing on it. I had to wait for a 'roo to hop across the green a couple of times before playing my approach.

Most likely you were at Anglesea. It's well known for its kangaroo population.

Just tee off. They get hit all the time. I hit one off a drive once that was lying on the fairway sunning itself. Didnt blink an eye, just lay there until I was 10 metres from it.
