I think people get a little to caught up with the number of overtakes. Having loads of overtakes doesn't necessarily make for good racing. A bit like we can enjoy a 1-0 in football but americans are used to a high scoring basket ball game. What we really want is close racing and battles, and for overtakes to be an achievement, not something that's purely a result of DRS. Australia wasn't great for sure but Ross Brawn is working on the next big technical regulations change that'll come into play in 2021 and he's looking at changing the regs to allow the cars to get closer to each other which will hopefully improve the show. The last big changes were to make the cars faster, which certainly worked but arguably hasn't improved the show.
