Poor use of English, not the date that you passed the test, but how many attempts required.
So deleted the date an passed, and will replace with first time

1st time sometime in 1983/4. During the test, got stuck in a big traffic jam due to major roadworks in town and over-ran the allotted time by miles.

Car - 28th Oct 1976-----although I failed my first motorbike test in 1975 for not using my TWO mirrors ffsake!
As I remember Hove fire station had a shout and I pulled over to let the wagon go past me in Sackville Road - this may have given me plus points!

2nd time, just after my 18th birthday. I rushed in to taking my first test, and was nowhere near ready. My second test was aided somewhat by the examiner being an Albion fan. Not that unusual you might think, except I took the test in Cambridge.

Car- 1st time after ten lessons. I was 18.
Motorcycle- 2nd time as first time I was failed for insufficient use of gears which I still don’t believe to this day. I was seventeen.

2nd time for me.
The first time i got cut up on a round about by a Peugeot 205 that went right from the left hand lane. I got a major fault as apparently I should have expected him to do it.
